PhD. Researcher
Ziyan Wu is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Engineering with research focused on cache-aware high-speed network function virtualization (NFV). His work addresses performance bottlenecks in modern network infrastructures, particularly 5G, by developing novel abstractions, execution models, and frameworks that enhance scalability and efficiency in NFV systems. Through contributions such as the NFLOW and MVT abstractions, a cache-optimized execution model, and an edge-cloud consolidation framework, he has demonstrated substantial performance improvements in packet processing. His work has been published in top conferences such as IEEE INFOCOM and ICDCS.
