Wei Ye is a final-year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. His research focuses on leveraging AI to enhance networking efficiency in both data center and 5G networks, developing advanced deep learning techniques (including GNNs, Transformers, and 3D Reconstruction), and constructing high-fidelity digital twins for world models. Wei Ye has published 18 research papers (6 as the primary or co-primary author), many in top-tier conferences, such as SIGCOMM, CoNEXT, etc. He has received the Best Paper Runner-Up Award twice. Additionally, he has served as a reviewer for multiple prestigious academic conferences and journals and has interned at the networking research department of Nokia Bell Labs (Murray Hill, NJ).
