Ross is a last-year Ph.D. student. Research areas that interest him include, but are not limited to, Mobile Systems, 5G/Next-G networks, applied ML for network systems, Autonomous/Teleoperated (ToD) Driving, and scalable network architectures (such as NFVs and SDNs). His current research focuses on 5G networks to identify challenges faced by applications and leverage insights to build "5G-Aware" (AI/ML) systems. Ross' work has been published at several top venues like; SIGCOMM, INFOCOM, IMC, PAM, HotMobile, ICNP, etc., with several awards, including two Best Paper Runner-Up Awards. Ross has previously worked for big technology companies like Microsoft and Cisco Systems, and is a proficient problem solver, effective communicator, and fluent in French.
