Connected Autonomous Vehicles and Networking

This demonstration showcases advanced vehicle teleoperation capabilities across challenging driving scenarios such as narrow parking spaces, construction zones, and complex urban environments. The system utilizes WebRTC to stream real-time video from three onboard cameras, enabling frame-level latency estimation for precise operator feedback. Control commands are transmitted using gRPC, ensuring reliable and low-latency communication. To further enhance performance, the streaming pipeline is optimized with adaptive strategies that dynamically adjust to network conditions. Additionally, low-level autonomy is integrated to assist with smooth maneuvering and control precision under demanding conditions.
